Susan Morris is a storyteller and poet, a lover of this planet and the people who share it with her. She is inspired by the unity of the human condition and the way our vastly different desires have the power to bring us together.
She enjoyed three semesters in the MFA program at Lindenwood University, completed her MBA in 2007, has published work in The Raven’s Perch, an independent literary magazine, and is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association. Susan is an avid outdoors woman who adores the time she’s spent backpacking among the Sierra and Rocky Mountains. For the past fifteen years, Susan has been creating her own legacy as the owner of a highly successful construction company with her husband, Scott.
Her fiction combines a modern perspective with a love of history. She crafts stories that create a deep, spiritual connections to nature, explore physical and emotional limitations, and challenge protagonists to overcome hardship and become awesome. Most often you will find her writing about everyday people of character.
